I liked the dynamic between the characters and Dom's determination to do what he felt was right despite everything that he might lose. I also liked the heated exchanges between Dom and Ren. I hope Ren gets his own story. It was different from all the other angel stories I've read and I look forward to reading more from this author.

This was such a tender story. Dom follows his heart to do what he knows is right in the face of everything he's told as wrong. He saves the girl and himself in the process. My idea of a great story. Looking forward to reading more of Voirey's work.

How come fallen angels are so hot? This one, Dominicus, is supposed to be collecting eveil souls at the point of their death, but instead he saves a woman's lfe - Maggie - convinced she's died in error. And then he falls her her.The closest thing to Heaven he'd touched in two hundred years and she was forbidden to him. He forced himself to stand, to move away from her.Maggie is a wise-cracking kinda girl. I liked her. So did Dominicus, especially when he decided that her life was now in danger and he had to protect her.Call the police? Right, Officer, I woke up yesterday and a strange man was in my house. He made me coffee and kissed me. Today he showed up and told me to skip going to Starbucks. He's got a weird-assed Latin name and I think he's on a mission from God to kill coffee. The 'reveal' was handled well."Wings." She was shaking, her body breaking down in fear while a small corner of her mind watched. She could hear the threadiness of her voice, her harsh, shallow breaths, but she couldn't seem to feel anything except a slow slide into panic. "You had wings. You had wings and you flew with me."Dominicus has a strange relationship with his best friend, the angel Renatus, who is horrified at what he's doing.Reality had just slammed her sideways. She had sex with an angel. Demons wanted to eat her. And, oh yeah, her new angel boyfrend had an angel boyfriend of his own. One who wanted to feed her to the demons. Calling her day f*****d up would be an understatement. If you like fallen angels (they're the best, really) and a bit of boy-boy lip action, as well as plenty of steamy hot girl-boy scenes, you'll love this :-)

I liked this book, it had a good story but I felt it could have been drawn out more, it felt rushed.Dom is an angel being punished, he has to take souls to hell, his only friend Ren comes to visit and explains he has a test coming, pass and you can return to heaven. When he is confronted by his next soul to take he can not do it, the soul is pure. So instead of taking her to hell he saves her and in doing so he starts a war.Maggie (who just happens to be a red head like so many female main characthers) is lonely so when she find a sexy man in her apartment she is rather happy. Dom vows to protect her and in doing so becomes drawn to her.The sex scenes were hot, but so were the scenes between Ren and Dom even if they didn't go all the way.Characthers were good, could have been developed more. Hot rating 4/5.

A fresh look at heaven, Voirey Linger creates a wonderful world with angels I can relate to. Cast from heaven, Dominicus is sentenced to accompany human souls to hell. After two hundred years of doing his job, he comes across a soul he doesn’t believe deserves her fate. Maggie tempts him to break angelic laws by stirring his sexual desires and compassion. Torn between heaven and hell, Dominicus must make decide to sacrifice Maggie’s soul or risk damnation. I really enjoyed Voirey Linger’s take on angels. Her story didn’t make me feel uncomfortable even with her angels being sexual since it was written as an act of love and not just lust.

This book was short and sweet. I loved how the author effortlessly worked in all the world building for her angels but kept the story in the fore. Dom and Ren's scenes were heartbreaking and so tender, you could really feel their history together.Dom and Maggie work so well as a couple and i love how he kept fixing her cup. excellent read.

An angel that has to take souls to hell for questioning God Dom is told by Ren that his next assignment is a test. maggie is that test a soul too pure to take to hell Dom refuses to deliver her to hell and thats when heaven and hell break loose. I would have given it a five except that the ending left me sad in a way. I loved Dom and Maggie together but the love and I do mean love between Dom and Ren should not be denied. Loved the story with that exception.

I found it very difficult to like either one of the two leads. Dominicus is awful to his best friend, using him, teasing him, taking his power without asking for it for, and ultimately rejecting him, while Maggie is pure damsel in distress. She can't seem to do anything by herself. Dominicus is constantly fixing things or saving her, and it's her stupid actions that make the climax even possible.Ren is the one saving grace of this story. The feather exchange scene was heartbreaking, though I felt for Ren, not Dom. Het readers who dislike m/m contact should be warned there is some in this story. In my book, however, even though there is less of it and it's mostly just kisses, it's hotter than the het sex.

I loved, loved, loved, I can't stress the loved part enough, this story; it tells the story of an angel forced to ferry the souls of the damned to Hell, but when he encounters a pure soul, he defies orders and saves this one, risking not only his eternal place in Paradise, but the very soul he's saved.

Couldn't quite push myself to believe the pairing in this book. Maggie didn't do it for me. Loved the two angels though.

I didn't care for this story. The dialogue didn't flow smoothly and just fell flat. The concept was good, though. Good rhing it was relatively short or I wouldn't have finished it.
