Looking for that perfect Christmas story to keep you warm on a cold night? Look no farther. This is a beautifully written short story about finding love while battling your past. I love the character growth. Noelle learns to overcome her wretched past to accept love. A certain character in this book needs to be thrown in a pit of rabid Canadian Geese! Wonder who I am talking about? Read the book, then you will understand how this person needs to be pecked to shreds. I am so glad she survived this person horrific action, to become a lovely person. And whoa the fire that blazes between Noelle and Roman is way hot! I adore how down to earth Roman was portrayed. There is no pesky cliffhanger on this one folks. You will get a truly wonderful HEA. The HEA is so sweet and heartfelt it will bring tears to your eyes. *This book was given to me for an honest review *

This is very wonderful Christmas short story! It's so enjoyable. Noelle Andrews had a trouble past, her foster parents were awful to her. Roman Parker, adopted as well is also her boss. When Noelle met Roman in that Christmas night party, she didn't know he was her boss. But after that night, he pursued her until she accepted him :) it was very romantic story with a FANTASTIC ending ! You will love this book, it's a such a sweet story! Noelle's Wish is a very poignant book. It touches on a very ugly part of society. Noelle is a survivor of childhood abuse in the system that is supposed to protect children. The author handled the situation very well and did not dwell entirely on the bad. Noelle meets a stranger in the Library of her employer and a very powerful wonderful story develops. I do recommend this book and it is well worth the price and time to read.

Really quite terrible. Bad writing, shoddy characterization, awful pacing, and every cliched drama trope you could imagine. It's also one of those fantastic books that can't decide what tense it's written in. "But a girl can dream couldn't she?""What meant so much to me is that Eileen picked out each one."Garcia also apparently forgot what she wrote at times. Noelle supposedly spent the first seven years of her life with a kind elderly couple. She tells those she's close to that her early years were happy ones, and it was only after she went into the system, at the age of seven, that things got bad. And yet..."Growing up I never had such a luxury as eating candy."Her abuse was strangely plotted. At first it was standard emotional, verbal, and physical abuse, then she claims she was "molested", then she says her foster father made her take her pants off and held her down while he cut her legs...? If you're going to make abuse pathology a part of your character, make it consistent. Oh, and a general tip; those who are traumatized by childhood abuse don't normally just blurt it all out to a guy they've known all of a week, then immediately dry their tears and traipse off to bed with him. I mean, this may as well have been the scene:Noelle: (copious tears and lots of shaking) "It was horrible, Roman. He used to lock me in a closet. One time he left me there for hours. I can't stand the dark now."Roman: "Oh, baby, I'm so sorry, that must have been horrible........ready to fuck?"Noelle: (wiping away tears) "Yeah, OK."This is just a badly plotted Christmas fantasy from the mind of a slightly imaginative woman who isn't real talented at expressing herself through writing.

This is a beautiful Cinderella like story of two lonely people who meet at a Christmas Eve party and are attracted to each other. Roman Parker is the CEO of Parker Industries and Noelle Andrews is an employee of his. Roman was adopted and has had a rich life and Noelle lived in foster homes since her Mom died after Noelle's birth. Her first foster parents were wonderful people and she had a great life there. The next foster parents were not so nice and Noelle had a very traumatic experience as a teenager and she always felt she would never be able to be loved and have a family of her own. They both are falling for each other but will Noelle get over her fears to find the happiness both she and Roman so deserve? You will have to read the story yourself to find out what the outcome will be. This is a well written story and it grabs you in from the beginning to the end.

Noelle's Wish was an excellent quick read to curl up on a cold winter's day and get lost in it. Nicole Garcia has wonderfully put together a short story of a young woman who has to overcome an abusive past to believe that she deserves to be loved and accept the love of someone that she feels she doesn't deserve. The hero of the story is deliciously written and the chemistry between Roman and Noelle is electric. I highly recommend this book and give it five stars.

**************ARC*****************This was the first book I read by this author and I loved it. Such a sad story with a great happy ending. I love how Roman is so sure of what he wants and Noelle is not and try's to talk him out of it every step of the way. They are so good together.

The best way to describe this book is that it is like a fairy tale. A young heroine who had spoken troubles in her childhood is invited to a company party and she finds a book that reminds her of happier times. The owner of the book, who is her boss and also a very handsome, kind and rich man, gives it to her as a surprise gift. From there the romance develops. At first when I was reading this book, I kept questioning the characteristics of both the hero and heroine. They just both seemed too good to be true, like they are not real people. Then it hit me...don't think of this story as a real life experience (although what lady wouldn't want this in her life?), but read it much like a fairy tale that comes true. We all need to remember those types of stories as well. Read like that, Ms. Garcia's story is a winner that will be enjoyed by all who want to see dreams come true.I wish to thank Ms. Garcia for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Tis the season, this is a great holiday read , we all like happy feel good stories and this one fits the bill. I t is the story of true love, and who does not like a story of true love?? The story is of a man and a woman with two total different childhoods but with a lot in common. They meet and are soul mates . Nicole wants to believe in a fairy tale life but because her life growing up was by no means a fairy tale she can not believe she is worth a good life. Roman Parker is a well to do CEO and also has things that bother him about his past even when he is very successful. Well Christmas Eve brings surprises and emotion to the surface. Will this be the fairy tale ending we all hope for in a story ?? Pick up a copy and see . Thisb is not a long book but has every thing to make it a great story

Oh, how I wished that Nicole Garcia had penned a longer story here, because I would have loved to spend more time with Noelle and Roman. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed what I read, and became rather quickly attached to the characters. The story was detailed enough with the their past involvement, that you could see how intimacy would present itself so early in the book. As a reader you could feel the need and desire that Noelle and Roman had for each other, it wasn't just a physical attraction, it was more than that, and very believable. Rarely does an ending surprise me, but this one did, and it was incredibly sweet! Overall, this was a brilliant, heart-warming tale that automatically puts you in the Christmas spirit. It’s a quick short read that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

New Author Nicole Garcia is beautiful person with a wonderful spirit. Noelle's Wish captures the essence of who she is. Noelle and Ramon's story is captivating and endearing. There are moments that will make you cringe in empathy for the character. The Author keeps you invested in the characters and takes the reader on a journey. This is a quick read Novella. Although, you'll want to know more upon conclusion. There is great potential that can be seen in this Author and great things are sure to come.Within the work, there is room for improvement. Seeing passed the faults to the beauty of the story will be your task as the reader. I found it quite enjoyable! Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see what is to come!

This is a Christmas story that shows that anyone can overcome their deepest heartaches and even tragic pasts. Noelle is a withdrawn girl who had an abusive childhood which left her scared both emotionally and physically. She meets Roman by chance at the company Christmas party and the chemistry is instant. A little blackmail involving a book, job and a date gives these two the nudge they need to start on the path to happy ever-after. I have to say I enjoyed this Christmas read and can't wait to read more from Nicole Garcia. * I received a copy of this book from the author in return for my honest review.

This is the first book by new author Nicole Garcia. I was so happy to have this book recommended to me. Roman and Noelle find love at first sight over a book in his families library. Noelle has a very difficult past to overcome and still believes that true love can exist, Roman is just the man to show her that anything is possible. This is a true triumph of love being able to win out. I look forward to reading more from Nicole Garcia in the future!

1.5 starsAlthough this story was a little bit cute, it was mostly just stupid. There were so many details and contradicting information that it made it very hard for me to follow and that ultimately distracted me from the story. The storyline itself wasn't much better. The female lead is supposed to have been a victim of sexual and physical abuse, and yet she seems to only have one problem stemming from that and otherwise it never ever makes an appearance into her daily life. Which it would if it were, in fact, as traumatic as the reader is led to believe. There is also the big problem of how the main characters met and instantly have chemistry. Then they are professing their love for each other the very next day! They didn't even spend the day together or anything like that. They simply met for about five minutes then went out on a date the next night which led to them in bed and professing their love. The entire story also felt incredibly rushed and parts seemed to be skipped due to the page constraint. I was just very disappointed with this story all around.

Beautiful.Like most lovers of romance I have a soft spot for Christmas romances so I couldn't wait to read this book.Noelle Andrews was born on Christmas Day that was also the day she became an orphan and for Noelle the horrors of the foster care system became her reality, now she's older, she's working at Parker Industries and she's been talked into attending the firms Christmas party by her best friend Eve, but Noelle's not much of a party person and she finds herself in the library talking to the most gorgeous man called Roman.I have to say this book surprised me, I read the blurb and noticed it was only 52 pages long but then I noticed all the reviews, while there was only one UK review it was 5 star and the US had 60 reviews 55 of which were 5 star it wasn't until I'd really started reading that I understood. This book is a Christmas fairy tale it's absolutely wonderful and I loved every minute of it and despite trying very hard not to I still cried.

New to me author, Nicole Garcia, has written an amazing story. Noelle has had a miserable childhood and is barely make ends meet as an adult, however is a loving and caring woman. She is dragged to a party by her best friend Eve. She meets Roman....le sigh! His is smitten with her and does all he can to go out with her. Noelle has zero confidence in herself but Roman sees exactly who she is. I can't tell you how excited I was to find out (dun, dun dun!!) there is a sequel! Noelle's wish can be read as a stand alone story very nicely.

When my friend and soon to be fellow reviewer, Ms. Brandy, asked me if I had time to review a short Christmas novella, I said yes! I love novellas because I can read through them when I am taking a break from editing.Ms. Nicole sent me Noelle's Wish to review. I didn't get to right away, but when I did, I couldn't put it down.Noelle Andrews hasn't had the easiest life. Her mother died at childbirth. Noelle has been in and out of foster care since she was seven years old, after the older couple she lived with from birth up to then was unable to care for her. Noelle finally graduated high school and went to college where she met her soon to be best friend, Eve. They graduate and soon start working at Parker Industries together. It's Christmas time and they are at the work Christmas party in a beautiful mansion. Eve wants Noelle to meet someone and she doesn't want to worry about it. She goes off to find the 'bathroom' and ends up in the library with one handsome man. He tells her that his name is Roman...She soon finds out that he is Roman Parker, the owner of the the company and it goes crazy from there. The following day his Noelle's birthday and a vintage book she had been eyeing in the library the night before arrives at her door. She decides can't keep it. So she calls Roman and things get HOT from there! This is a MUST read. I LOVED this story. It's a story of how one can be completely broken from being abused and neglected to living an amazing life. Noelle thinks she can't find her 'Prince' because that only happens in the books she reads...but does she find her Prince in Roman?

Novell's Wish Loved, loved this one. It a nice easy fast read. Loved the characters. They were so likeable. I had tears flowing while reading it, that's a good indication that you got a good book in your hands. One thing that really put this book over the top was the epilogue. What a perfect way to conclude the story. I highly recommend reading this. My first book by this author and she won me over.
