This story got me from page one. I was drawn into the characters and events with the mortals and the supernatural beings. The romance, the drama, & the heart ache is written so beautifully. If you are looking for a good paranormal romance this book is right up your ally, with angels, demons and humans and their decisions to love or hurt. Can an angel jump and leave heaven to be human for love? I can't wait to read the next book. Thanks Jessica for a good read.

I would give it 3 1/2 stars. I re-read/skimmed the first book, because it'd been awhile and I'd forgotten a lot of the details. I am glad I did, because it just flowed right into this book. I was super hooked, but I think I disliked Sam's lifecycles. He was so bent out of shape about Richard, but he was SO much worse! I mean really. I like the way it ended and would totally read the next one.

I fell in love with Samuel and Jude in book one! Now I love them all over again. In this book Jude is a more 'grown-up' character and I really liked that. She is now in college instead of high school and she is moving on with her life. Samuel is in pain as he is stuck in HR awaiting clearance to fall. I felt for him and I cheered him on the whole book through. There are some sad parts, I wont say what, but I literally cried. The end was beautiful and I can't wait for book 3. The writing is delicate and precise. The authors talents are endless and I am a huge fan.

Really enjoyed it. The main character went through all kinds of obstacles that had me turning the pages! The way the author built up the plot is making me anxious to read book 3. I can't wait to see what she's going to do with the demons.

Just like the first, Sun is Burning never let me down. I read it in one setting & was highly disappointed that it ended. I crave more of this series. The plot and characters are so well developed that I feel I am Jude. I feel her depression and I feel every emotion as she recovers and learns to let go of the past and finally look to the future. I feel Sam's pain as he watches her slip through his grasp. My fingernails are all but gone from living this experience with them and wondering if they could possibly find their way back to each other. Do they? You'll have to read and find out for yourself, but make sure you read Hazy Shade of Winter first, this is the sequel, & I can't wait for the third book. Great job, Ms. Bradshaw.

I really loved this book too! I love the story of Jude and love how the author developed her character and story so well. Every person can relate to her live experiences in some way. She is flawed and human which makes her so great. If you have read fallen, this series is SOOOOO much better! I highly recommend picking it up for the kindle. I really cannot wait for the last book!
